(OVERVIEW)
Yutori is a travel companion built for people who want more than a checklist. It's a warm, mobile-first web app that helps you plan trips, save places, track spending, and keep everything you need for a country in one calm space. Designed to feel less like a travel app and more like a paper journal you carry with you.
(THE CHALLENGE)
Most travel apps are noisy. They flood you with ads, notifications, and endless features you'll never use. We wanted the opposite. A single, quiet place that gives you exactly what you need for a trip. Local time, weather, currency, language help, visa info, and the little things that actually make you feel prepared. All wrapped in a design that feels human, not corporate.
(OUR APPROACH)
We built Yutori around a simple idea. A trip is a story, not a spreadsheet. Every screen was designed as a page in a journal, with warm cream tones, soft shadows, and stamp accents inspired by vintage travel documents. Behind the scenes, we built a full product experience with trip planning, a translator, an AI travel guide, live currency conversion, packing lists, spending tracking, and secure document storage. Everything works offline, everything feels light, and everything is built to grow with you.
(RESULTS & IMPACT)
Yutori launched as a free tool with an optional Pro plan. It's now a live product used by real travelers across time zones. The design language became a signature part of The DeepLayer's studio identity, and Yutori continues to grow with new features shaped by the way people actually travel.
